distinguishing features: Aubreen has one tattoo on her body; a tiny heart on the right side of her right wrist.
personal style: Aubreen’s style is just your regular, everyday sort of fashion trend follower. She doesn’t really stay close to any one particular fashion style. She may dress like a complete scene girl one day, and then the next day she’ll dress like a cowgirl. Really, it all depends on her mood. However, she tries to stay closer to what she considers a classy and classic look. In warmer weather, you will almost always see her in shorts and some type of cool top. In the cooler weather she sticks to hoodies or faux fur trimmed coats, and jeans/leggings. If she’s just going to school, Bree tries to keep everything simple but classic. She tries to not to draw attention to herself with flashy bright colours or an over the top style. While at home she’s probably be bumming around in sweats, or shorts, and an old tee. If it’s being worn in New York, Aubreen’s most likely wearing it.

strengths: talking, giving advice, strong willed, driven, hard-working, can keep a secret, painting, being a mom (to anyone).
weaknesses: can be rash in decision making, not particularily observant, too trusting, speaks before she thinks, math, children, too generous, a dirty/messy room (it must be clean).
secrets: Aubreen was raped at a party when she was fourteen. She hates being alone and is scared that she’ll eventually end up alone and lose all the people she loves dearly. She has a sex tape with her husband. Although she doesn’t say anything about it, she’s always nervous that she’ll do or say something wrong and her husband will eventually cheat on her; even though she knows that he wouldn’t do that.
personality summary: If by chance you ever come to be friends with Aubreen, you’ll find that she’s quite a lovely person to be around. She really is that tiny, little, fun sized girl that you wish you could just put in your pocket and take her were ever you go. Bree is very much a sweetheart and tries to do whatever she can for others. If it’s within her power to do so, she will – a simple enough motto for her. She’s a very generous and giving person; probably giving too much of herself to others at times. Aubreen really does try to do a lot for other people, whether they can do it for themselves or not. She loves to make people happy; a people pleaser. She knows that not everyone will like her, or agree with her, but she tries her hardest. Once you are considered a very good friend of hers, you won’t find it very hard to love her. Even if you’re in the wrong, Aubreen will often try to set things right. She has no issue with yelling at people if it needs to be done. If you were in the wrong, she’d just try to correct your opinion later on, and not in front of everyone else. Bree is a fairly private person so she tries to deal with most things in a quiet and calm way. All that she wishes that is she is treated with at least one third of the amount of loyalty, love, and trust that she gives freely to others. Really, she’s easy to please that way.
Aubreen can get a little bitchy from time to time, just like every other girl in the world. However, she tries hard not to put off those kinds of vibes. She loves people and just loves to be around other people. She’s a social person. If Aubreen does have an issue with it, it will probably be a fairly obvious thing to point out. The girl has been known to throw quite the dirty look at people who she can’t stand; and she definitely will not go out of her way to talk to them. She’ll be short, or just non responsive to the other person. Bree’s a pretty hard girl to lose as a friend, giving ample opportunities for people to correct or redeem themselves. It’s a rare thing for her not to accept an apology. But in reality, Bree tries to veer away from conflict as much as possible. Arguments or just aggressive behaviour in general, stress her out a lot. Stress is one thing she doesn’t need more of in her life.
Sometimes Bree can be a little too forgiving with other people. Giving them just a little more than the “benefit of doubt”. However, it’s really only because she is usually being overly lenient for a friend. She simply adores people and tries her hardest to please the world. With that in point, Aubreen is someone a lot of people can trust. The girl hates rumours and gossip just as much or even more than the next person and she believes the only way to stop it is not talking or spread it more. She keeps secrets to herself (unless of course she believes that the secret could in fact endanger the person more). If someone happens to tell her something she keeps it to herself. On the other side, Bree is way too trusting when it comes to everyone else about the things she has to say. She considers a lot of people to be her friends but filtering the ones that make for good friends (who can keep their mouths closed about things) and just everyday friends are not one of her strong points. If she feels like she needs to get something off her chest, she’ll say something to the nearest friend, not and not really thinking about who she’s saying things to.
Aubreen can definitely be a sassy girl when she feels like it. Just like everyone else her age, she loves to just have fun. She can be wild and crazy when she’s around the kind of people that allow her to do so. However, with certain responsibilities she has, she can’t always be the center of the attention. Her partying life has died down quite a lot since she had her baby. Yet that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to get up and go places. The people that know truly her know that she’s still a very happy-go-lucky, bright and bubbly girl. Her true colours really show when she’s around the people she trusts and adores. She’s happy and vibrant, very quick witted and on top of everything. Aubreen likes to do things at the split of the moment, and never too late. She is very much a “in the moment” kind of girl and likes to do things when she thinks of them.
The small blonde can be a bit of a tease at times. More so in her early days of high school than now; being married and all. If anything, she’s more self-conscious about flirting and the way she acts around other people. After finding out she was pregnant with her daughter, people decided that the term “slut” seemed to fit her just fine. It really hit Aubreen to hear people say that about her because it wasn’t like she was the kind of girl to go around sleeping with people all the time. She’s a very reserved and modest person when it comes to public displays of affection or even when people talk about sex or topics relating to that. The girl simply just gets all embarrassed and flustered about it and just plain hates being put in such situations. This more so happens when it’s between herself and a group of people, not so much when she’s talking one on one with someone. Normally, she can handle tiny jokes here and there. But, if there happens to be a full out conversation, she will probably stay quiet until she feels more comfortable to talk. Bree can still find herself being a little flirty but it’s been watered down considerably since.

history summary:
René was about twenty when she got hitched to the carpenter Jakob, who was nearly twenty-three. They definitely weren’t the picture perfect high school sweethearts to say the least. René would pitch a fit with her friends every time they even mentioned his name around her at high school. She hated his everything, the way he talked, looked at her, even the way he took his breathes aggravated her. For some reason, she simply hated his very existence. He was one of those high school jock types and René was more of the artsy types. Two separate cliques. When René came "to her senses", as her friends so kindly put it, she realized that Jakob was a very calm and endearing guy. They had a baby boy nine months after getting married, as only good wholesome couples should. The boy was everything a dad wanted in his kid. About two years later Bree popped into their lives.
On March 13, it was a very cold and blistery day and Aubreen's mother nearly caught her death in the chill. France’s inland winters were never too pleasant, but it wasn’t like they could do much about it. The little baby girl was just that, tiny. She had been born a few weeks early and hadn’t exactly had a full term. Regardless of her size, Aubreen was a prized possession to her father and her mother. She looked nearly identical to her mother. When the little girl turned four she contracted the flu. Her mother and father were very worried; she wasn’t showing any great of signs of pulling through, even with treatment. When she would pull out of the flu, she had pneumonia, and when that would disappear, the flu would come sneaking back. Her parents watched over her diligently, her brother kept away just in case. It was quite disheartening to the couple. With so much time taken off for Aubreen’s sake, her family went into debt and never thought about having another child.
Although Aubreen and her family were going into severe debt, their mother René was able to pull them out. She was hired by an American designer, by chance, to come and sew for her. Obviously, René was not going to turn down this perfect opportunity for her family. She would be making enough income to support their needs and Jakob could easily find a job with carpentry in some form. At this time, Aubreen would have been about eleven years of age and just finishing grade five. She had friends and she was an amazing student; but when her parents told her of the move everything went downhill for her. Her grades dropped dramatically, and she became very destructive in class. Her behaviour was not the normal sweet and gentle girl anymore, it was the fiery, uncontrollable kid who all teachers dreaded having. She was suspended numerous times, during the start of grade six and her downward spiral only increased in speed when the date of the move was getting closer. No one was particularly happy to move, but most needed and wanted the change.
In an attempt to act out against her parents and make them change their minds about moving once and for all, she and a few of her new rebellious set of friends had decided that they were going to go and vandalize some buildings and structures around their area. One of the main fixtures they wished to destroy was the Cathedral in from Orléans. So, the group of five set out in the cover of night to graffiti on the building. As per usual, they were caught in the act. Aubreen was all too thankful for the police to come and arrest her. Just think about it, your child is a delinquent and now she’s starting to destroy her environment around her. When the cops showed up at the door, her parents were obviously relieved at first; their baby girl was returned to them. Not so when the police let her off with a warning and she had to do some community service – clean the mess up. Her parents took this as a sign that she wanted to leave faster, that she hated where she lived. That of course was the opposite of what she actually wanted; so they bumped up the departure date a few weeks ahead. Aubreen gave up her vandal career, knowing that she lost.
Aubreen and her family landed in the States when she was about twelve. They began to settle themselves down in New York, where this particular designer worked. With the small amount of money they had, converted, they were able to buy a decent house in Brooklyn. The location wasn’t the best, but it offered their mother easy access to work, and it had a school, and opportunities for their father as well. But, Aubreen wasn’t too pleased with her surroundings. For one, everyone spoke English. It wasn’t a big problem for her, she could speak English, but it definitely wasn’t her first language. She and her brother became close allies since the school wasn’t so accepting of new comers. The fact that they had an intense French accent didn’t help. The only advantage was that not many people could speak French, so she and her brother could chat away without people knowing what they were saying. Kids began to call her Frenchie, and she hated it. Her brother was becoming a good looking guy so no one really bothered him and he was already being accepted into the pack of boys. The frustration with school and not being in France pushed her grades down a little more. Of course, her brother had told his parents not to worry; it would only be a short time before she made friends.
Whoever said high school was the time of your life was completely wrong. Aubreen passed junior high with high seventies, and was going into high school. She and the family had settled down nice and comfortably in Brooklyn now and Aubreen had even made some friends. Life was, okay, but it still wasn’t France, it wasn’t the bakeries with the café’s lining the streets, there was no French here and she didn’t like the culture. She and her brother were invited to a Halloween party in the early, naïve years of grade nine. Life was more complex here than it was back home, and she was only starting to get a handle on it. Aubreen agreed to go to the party with her brother, reluctantly. She frankly regrets ever going now. She and her brother made it to the party, it was a costumed event and no one looked distinctly familiar. Her brother told her to just relax and have fun; there would never be any harm in just relaxing and letting loose. She agreed and found a group of her friends. They were chatting and chatting, having fun, laughing and giggling; but that’s when things went blurry. Aubreen began to feel sick or at least she thought the room was spinning. She had only water to drink that night, and so everyone thought she must have just eaten something bad. The host, one of her good friends, showed her to a spare room. There, she went to the bed to lie down. The next thing she remembered was someone coming to ‘check in’ on her.
Aubreen was raped that night, she was helpless and her brother didn’t even know. He was uninformed of his sisters’ condition, and the fact that she was left alone in a spare room. That night, Aubreen couldn’t even figure out who the guy was. The costume allowed him to be anonymous. When the drug wore off, Aubreen stumbled down the stairs to her brother. Telling him that she didn’t feel well, he was set on taking her home, she really didn’t look well at all. On the way home, she told him what she thought had happened. Instead of home, he took her to the hospital to report the accident. Her parents came flooding into the room, mumbling and sobbing their apologies, Aubreen was in too much shock to really register it. After the case fell through because no one could identify the rapist, the Avery’s decided to move. The moved to Ridgewood, New Jersey, and hoped that they could leave the incident behind them and start new. Her family never mentions the event and she has always hoped that by pushing it out of sight will also mean pushing it out of her mind. She was now starting her sophomore year, and her brother was done school. There was no one left to protect her, and she had become quite hostile once again. In this town, she tried to stay under the radar, hoping that no one will notice her so that she can be left alone and not uprooted again by some random tragedy on her part. She was just, so scared.
After moving to Ridgewood, Bree’s mother wasted no time in trying to find the girl some friends to keep her occupied. René figured that if she kept Aubreen busy with good people she would be able to stay out of trouble and things would work out smoothly. Nothing would go wrong and they could try to live out their lives as normally as possible. But things never usually work out as we like to plan them. It turned out that the girls Aubreen’s mother had so magically found for her weren’t so fantastic and wholesome as she thought. Who knew churchy girls liked to spend their time partying during the night? Bree was still recovering from the things that happened in New York, so being dragged to a party was the last thing on earth that she wanted to have happened. The girls told her mom that it was some kind of book club meeting and the little blonde simply just had to go. Even after pulling numerous sick and headache cards, she was still booted out the door to go to this book club meeting. Of course, it wasn’t. It was the end of summer, just before junior year (having successfully dodged every party she could during the school year). Her friends had of course left the bitter girl to her own devices. Aubreen found herself glued to the wall, no drink, and no food. Completely enjoying getting hit on by all the stupid drunk guys, or getting asked over a hundred times if she was “that French girl”. And to top off her whole night, one particularly clumsy guy who was obviously well in the bag had tripped over himself and spilt whatever it was that he was drinking all over her top. It was a sweater that one of her aunts had shipped to her from France. Aubreen was right furious. And while the boy was politely trying to clean up the mess he had made, he grabbed her boob. It was only a short time after that, that she left the part and went back home.
She knew exactly who the boy was; he was dating her best friend at the time. Aubreen gave him the dirtiest glares whenever she could. She wouldn’t hang out with her friend if she knew that he was going to be there. Bree simply just avoided his presence as much as she could. At school, it was no different. She would block him out of conversations, and just be flat out rude and bitchy to him. Frankly, she didn’t know that he had no clue why she was being such a bitch to him until he confronted her about it. After apologizing profusely about the whole situation, they eventually got back onto the right foot and became pretty could friends. She and Jason would often just hang out with each other. Although she wouldn’t have ever admitted it then, he definitely helped her regain the confidence she had lost back at that Halloween party. She became a lot more open and friendly, not such a shut in and closed up. When he introduced her to pot, that just opened up a whole new bag of fun for Bree. She, Jason, and her best friend/his girlfriend, would often skip out of class to go smoke in his mom’s car. To this day, Aubreen’s parents do not know about her smoking pot.
Aubreen found herself liking Jason a little more than she should have. She would catch herself flirting a little too much with the male considering he and her best friend were still dating. Bree couldn’t figure out why she liked such a sleaze ball like him. Everyone knew that the boy slept around.... a lot and it was the reason why he and the girl eventually broke up. Aubreen had heard from the girl that he had cheated on her. Sure, Bree wasn’t exactly thrilled to hear that about him, but she was still intrigued. So like any good best friend would, she tried to get closer to Jason in hopes that maybe they would eventually date. Then things went from bad to worse and the boy found out that he was going to be a dad. Then the next thing Bree knew was that he was dating this neighbour boy. It completely threw Bree off and she hated it. She tried to support Jason as much as she could when it came to his kids, but when it came to this boyfriend; she put in a little less effort.
Having lost interest in pursuing Jason, since he was all “in love” with this boy, Aubreen went out looking for other guys. Low and behold she found one. At first he seemed perfect; kind, cool, and mildly sensitive. His parents also had a little bit of money. Nowadays, when she looks back on this relationship, she can only shake her head and wonder what she was thinking. Maybe it was the fact that he had a motorcycle, but after a few months she quickly found out how controlling, clingy, and demanding he was. The boy constantly needed updates on where she was and what she was doing and he hated Jason. Jason almost always came first in her books so that was one thing that didn’t fly at all with her. So, as history generally repeats itself, Aubreen acted out in the one way she figured she could. She would often find herself sneaking over to Jason’s and sleeping over. Her boyfriend didn’t like this at all. Aubreen and Jason never did anything but have sleepovers which frustrated her more. Feeling like she was being choked in the relationship rather than enjoying it. Her boyfriend had disappeared for a few weeks, some sort of family emergency, and during that time Jason was in the hospital. Aubreen went to visit him, looking for some kind of consolation but came out of that room with just a little more. Even though Bree had considered her relationship with her boyfriend to be over for some time, when he came back he was furious to find out that she and Jason had kissed and accused her of cheating. The girl had never been so frustrated and confused in her whole life. So when her family went back to France for Christmas she quickly joined them.
Bree ended up drinking at some New Years Eve party that a cousin of hers had taken her to. She drank way too much, and felt way too good about being away from all her troubles that she ended up sleeping with some dude while she was there. When she came back, she told the boyfriend that she had cheated and that they were over. He couldn’t have agreed more. A month after she had gotten back, Aubreen found out she was pregnant. She had no idea what to do. After telling her parents, she was kicked out. Jason was living at home at the time with his twins (who had so casually been dropped off at his door). Figuring that he had kids, and that his mom was a nurse, Bree would be safe and taken care of there. The Barker’s were such a huge help to the girl as she went through her pregnancy. Jason helped her as much as he could, go with her to appointments and such. That’s when things started to get a little messy for them. They started to sleep with each other. Aubreen still liked Jason a lot, and with the mix of raging pregnant hormones; things were just disastrous. One week they would be flirting and having fun, the next they would be fighting and sleeping in separate rooms. Eventually Aubreen got her own place; after a fight with Jason she finally moved out.
Things were very rough for her at that time. She was so emotional and flip-flopping constantly. Bree and Jason did however make up within a few weeks time, and a little later after that they started going out. Their relationship was completely rocky and far from healthy for a pregnant girl. Every few months they would get in a fight, and Jason would want to break their relationship while Bree would be struggling to keep it together. Jason ended up cheating on her. It seriously broke the girl’s heart but she had half been expecting it. Aubreen forgave him for it, hoping that he’d never do it again and things seemed to be looking up again. Aubreen had her little baby girl, she moved in with Jason, and then the next thing she knew the boy was dropped to one knee in front of her proposing. The girl couldn’t have been happier and things finally felt like they were good again. However, it hardly lasted long. Jason’s twins ended up getting taking away from him and he broke off the engagement with Bree and told her he just couldn’t do it anymore. The little blonde was honestly crushed. Feeling like she had fought so hard to get where she was, happy, healthy, and loved then it was so quickly snatched away. Fighting some mild post partum depression, and getting sick, Aubreen gave up her little girl to her friend Daniel’s parents. Aubreen was just so done with everything. She didn’t want to go to school anymore, she didn’t really want to do anything; what was the point? Everything that made her happy would just go away like it always did.
Time went by and she found herself trying to patch things up with Jason. A few months later he was asking her again to marry him. Stupidly, the girl said yes (most people probably wouldn’t with their relationship history). Bree started working for her mom to get money and was back on her own two feet. However with life a little less Elsie-less, she couldn’t help but feel like wanting to have another baby. Since then she and Jason have been trying to get pregnant, however with no success. Jason dropped out of school to follow a music career and Aubreen was back in school doing wonderfully. Having her “family” back really helped her to stay focused and on track. The pair ended up married on April 13th, much to their happiness. Now, they are more or less trying to figure out living situations and money. Aubreen is trying to figure out whether she wants to pursue college right away or wait a year and spend much needed time with her husband and the twins.

roleplay sample:
Aubreen had been up all night, considering she was a vampire it wasn’t like it was unusual. Vampires didn’t sleep, they might rest, or pretend like their asleep but they were definitely never in a deep human REM cycle sleep. When Aubreen had rose from her bed she threw on her t.v. to much music, not even sure why she probably just wanted something to listen to while she was in the shower. Her fingers massaged her scalp with the shampoo Jordan had forced her to buy, as ironic as that sounds. It smelt nice and as long as it did the trick, she really didn’t care what the shampoo was. Jordan was always so uptight with her about shampoo, soaps, and conditioners, nearly everything hygienic. She knew he had germ-a-phobic tendencies, and with knowing that she had just given up on fighting him on the subject. The water was on the near hottest setting, the heat warming her body, for once. Her entire room was steamed, and the mirror was no excuse. She wasn’t even sure how Pasha had survived the smog attack caused by the shower.
She threw the towel around her clean wet body. Breen then wrapped her hair in another towel to dry it. She walked into her closet and grabbed some clothes. Beside the necessities, she threw on a cute little dinosaur t-shirt – she was sure it was another thing Jordan had forced her to buy, and a pair of dark washed skinny jeans. She walked back into the washroom and brushed her teeth with that vampire speed. Something she was always happy to have. That’s when she heard Jordan knocking on the door; she didn’t think herself decent so she finished up brushing her teeth quickly then proceeded on the cosmetics. She wasn’t planning on doing anything huge, but eyeliner and mascara were staples. Then Jordan bounded in. Her eyes rolled lightly in the mirror, her hand moved up to it wiping a piece of it clear. A brow raised, “JORDAN! What the fuck! You’re nineteen, grow up already...” A small laughed was emitted that went through the washroom into the bedroom-living room area. The music was catchy to say the least, and her hips moved slightly to the beat, but she’d never admit that to him. With that she had finished and walked back to the living room area.
He was dancing and singing, as lovely as his voice was she couldn’t believe he hadn’t grown out of that. She quickly rubbed her hair, the towel still on. “Sit down you…” Aubreen threw the towel off her head, and it landed on the floor off near her hamper. She sat down on her bed, and then flopped onto her back. Her head titled toward Jordan. Her towel dried hair was going to tick Jordan off to no end, god forbid any hair be untouched by a blow drier before it dried. A large grin was on her face, however when she saw him dancing and singing she was straining herself to join. She loved his little childish spurts, and his randomness. It was really what attracted her to him, like she could act careless and free with him, like she was free of her duties. Her blue eyes were watching the young precious human male; he was so fragile, so delicate. She could never tell him that she could hear his distinct heart beat a mile away, or that she could smell him coming before he left his room. His hair, back to that topic, was as perfect as usual. She loved his longer brown hair that could curl around his neck. And, those tattoos, jesus Murphy you’d think she had a crush on that boy.
