BUT MY FAVOURITE PLACE IS THE WARM EMBRACE of holding your hair back in a bathroom stall Austin’s forte was never paying attention in school. The male did absolutely stunning with grades in his classes but his attention always seemed to be focused elsewhere. Some days he’d be focused on food, other days like today, he’d be focused on girls. Today, however, he wasn’t talking to just some old regular girl from school. He really didn’t like the girl’s he went to school with. They were all seriously dumb, and maybe it was just the type that was attracted to him but he really disliked the bimbo’s. Sure, he was on the sports teams, did any extracurricular activities he could, but it wasn’t because he liked it. He really had no school spirit. The whole reason he participated at all was to be able to get out of the house and not have to deal with his mother. The woman was just such a strong personality that he always felt they were clashing about something. She would bicker and pick at him till he couldn’t stand even looking at a picture of her. He felt bad for not being home, his twin was always so attached to him and felt like she was following him around like a lost puppy dog. Now, he hardly spoke to her. Or anyone for that matter.
But the wide grin on his face... that was induced by one particular girl. It was weird how people come and go in certain parts of your life. He and Coraline used to be really good friends. Then for some reason they just stopped talking to one another and grew apart. Austin couldn’t even pinpoint the exact moment in time when it happened, but regardless, it did. Now for some strange reason they were coming back together. It wasn’t something that Austin was unhappy about, or disliked. The girl turned out to be smokin’ hot and just overall attractive in his eyes. Every now and then he would sleep over at her apartment, or just not sleep at all and stay up the whole night watching television and smoking pot with her. Sometimes they would magically end up at the same party as one another. He wasn’t about to whine or complain about it either though. Sitting at his desk, he pressed send to yet another text message. Thank god this teacher played favourites and simply adored Austin. The whole class knew how badly he had the young teacher wrapped around his finger; it was almost pathetic in a sense. Every once and a while he would bring her in some baked goods from home that his mother had made and the teacher would just be so completely over the moon with him that he wouldn’t have to worry about handing in a project or getting in trouble for texting in class.
Within a few moments, he would get another text back from Coraline. It was often that the pair would end up ditching the last half of school to go and hang out and today was no exception. Looking up at the clock, there was still about a half hour of class left but she was waiting outside for him already. Decision, decisions. Thinking for a few moments, he placed his cellphone back inside his jean pocket before collecting his books and things inside his bag and standing up to leave. They were only doing book work after all and it wasn’t like the teacher was going to object to him leaving. He waved to the teacher sweetly before heading out of the classroom silently and into the hallways. Austin quickly scooted to his locker where he tossed all his books inside, grabbed his jacket and then headed for where Coraline was waiting. There was just something about that girl that Austin was almost instantly attracted to and it wasn’t just because she had a great body to look at either. Her personality was what really brought him further into liking her. As he reached the door, he pushed it open smelling the damp spring air before looking over to Cora. He pushed that half lopsided grin, “Hey” He said softly before he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lighting it. “So where was it you wanted to run off to?” He handed out the pack to her, offering if she wanted one.
BUT EVERYTHING I DO IS BITTERSWEET you could tell me secrets that i'll probably repeat
notes , shotty and horrible, sorry it took so long

It was rare that you'd find Coraline wandering the halls of Northridge High - yes, she was a student here, but it was very rare that'd she'd actually bother to wake up and come to school. It wasn't like she came to school to study either, so whenever she'd decide to come, and sit in class, her teachers would usually ignore her and let her do whatever she pleased; which obviously meant texting till her fingers fell off. Naturally, she wouldn't come without having a damn good reason either (we were talking about buying new drugs, having a smoke with her friends, meeting up with a guy) and she hardly ever came to school sober. In the eyes of many people, she was a lost cause and nothing good would (or could, for that matter) ever come out of her. Luckily enough for her parents, she wasn't an only child and they had been blessed with a wonderful second daughter, who lived up to every expectation a parent would have for their child. It made up for the kind of trash Coraline had turned into, and people hardly ever noticed her anymore - she'd just sort of.. dispersed into thin air, and had become invisible. She would be, until the day they would find her dead on the curve of a street somewhere, or in a forest, then they'd dedicate a day for her and woops she'd be forgotten again - not that it bothered her that much. It really didn't.
It was around noon now, and in a few hours the bell would ring - ending the day for the tired students. Coraline, however, had already dropped the act she'd been putting on for the day, and was now sitting outside on the railing of the stairs that lead out to the school parking lot. Her pocket vibrated, and she quickly fished out the phone to discover that she had received yet another text from Austin. They'd been texting pretty much all day, and when she'd gotten bored of just sitting and texting him she'd declared that they were ditching, and had then left class to go wait for him. Usually, Cora wouldn't wait for anyone - people weren't worth spending her precious time on just waiting for them, so usually she wouldn't tolerate having to wait for any person for any extended time, it was disrespecting to her, to keep her waiting (but obviously, when it were them waiting for her she could care less). Austin was somewhat of an exception though. In her mind, she claimed it to be because he used to have a shit load of stash.. But really she just liked the guy - though she really wouldn't admit that. She wasn't the kind of person who liked people; she was the kind of person who enjoyed getting high with people. Austin was an old friend of hers - they had used to play with one another, when they were kids, and had recently rekindled their friendship. He was an awesome dude, and she liked hanging out with him. However, if he kept her waiting she'd consider punching him in the face.
Finally the doors swung open, and the dark haired boy she'd been waiting for walked out - that little half lopsided smile plastered on his mouth. Damnit - she had some human feelings still left inside her, so she'd really just feel bad if she punched him now and broke that smile. "Hey," she whistled bitterly through her clenched teeth, ignoring as he offered the pack to her and simply stole his from his mouth, took a quick drag, and then returned it to him. Blowing out the smoke in his face, she tugged at the corners of her own lips and then jumped down from the railing, placing herself closely in front of him, their noses nearly touching "Now we're even for you making me wait," Was she a little irrational and a bitch? Yes, but she could really care less. You did not make her wait. "Took you long enough. What? did you have to take another look at your teacher to reevaluate who you'd rather hang out with? She might have the hots for you, you should use it for your advantage. I would," She jokingly mocked him, cheekily winking at him as she returned to lean against the railing, and finally helped herself to one of the cigarette's he'd offered her. She snorted at his question, holding the cigarette out to him, silently asking for him to light it. "You make it sound super creepy when you put it like that," She muttered, admiring the cigarette in her hand. "Anywhere, as long as we get out of this hell hole," She muttered, glaring hatefully at the building next to them for a quick second, before her facial expression turned indifferent again. "I~ need to smoke something.. or have something to drink, I think," She said, pointing her index finger at him, which she later also poked against his chest. She was possibly slightly baked already, but there was always time for more. What was worst chase scenario? She'd start to hallucinate? She doubted it. "We can go sit in the graveyard and smoke pot.. Or find an empty grass field" She looked up at him, "You're call." They could always just stay here, find the car of a sad little student and go sit in that. Hopefully no one would find out, although it was highly doubtful. Then again, what did she care? She shook the thought out of her head, and decided not to mention it. She wanted to get away from school, not end up staying there, and Austin was coming with her.
notes it's kaay (: hope this is fine, my muse seems to not like me lately >>
