It was about nine pm in the ever so exciting life of Caleb Chevalier and for once, he was home alone. His father out in a bar somewhere, his mother, probably being the whore she was. Caleb had already tucked Tommy in bed and was pretty sure Andre' And Ambre' were asleep, too. They all had school in the morning, including Caleb, but if he didn't take care of the kids, who would? Exactly. He was quietly sitting on the living room couch, watching the TV, whenever he saw the headlights of one of his parents cars.
He sighed and got up to unlock the door, seeing as it was his dad. His dad stumbled through the door, and onto the couch. Caleb had no idea how the man had driven home and not been arrested, or killed. Caleb couldn't make out his slurred words, but it didn't matter, because soon enough, his dad was passed out on the couch. Caleb sighed, throwing a blanket over him and sat down on the other couch, continuing to watch TV.
It wasn't ten minutes until He heard his mom at the door, with a man, it sounded like. Caleb didn't get the door for them, she could get it herself. The dark haired woman glanced over at Caleb shaking her head. "You couldn't have gotten the door?" Caleb pretended as if he didn't hear it. Her tone raised slightly, fussing at him in French, a language only the two of them understood. Caleb sighed. "Who is this?" He asked, motioning over to the man. "He's my...business partner." Caleb shuddered. "MOTHER! Ew. Dear Lord. Your husband is on the couch right there and you're going to fuck another guy... while he's right there?!" Caleb asked in disbelief.
Genevive stepped closer to Caleb, looking down on him, being she was an inch taller. "You don't talk to me like that, you hear? Me and you are going to have a talk later." Caleb rolled his eyes. "By talk, you mean pushing me around until I tell you what you want? Nothing out of the ordinary. But I'm leaving, I'll be back later."
And with that, he turned on his heels to walk out.
"Caleb Alexandre Chevalier. Give me your keys, you aren't going anywhere." Caleb pulled his keys out of his pocket and tossed them at his mom. "I'll Walk. Have fun with your...erm, business partner." The normally shy boy said, clicking his tongue for his dog to follow. The dog followed him everywhere. She alerted him whenever he had an unsafe drop in blood sugar or was about to have a seizure. walking out the door, he attached Coralie's leash and began walking. He knew he was going to get it later from his mother, but he was not the the mood to deal with her shit right now. With his hands in his pocket, he walked. He wasn't sure where he was going, but he was going far away from his house....
Or, well, as far as you can go when you were on foot. He made his way to the park. It was dark and there was no one there. When you had social anxiety, you tried to stay away from people as much as possible. He plopped down on an empty swing, holding Coralie's leash, setting his bag down and swinging his legs back and forth. He needed to get his mind off of this shit.

Post by JASON RUSSEL BARKER on Mar 31, 2011 9:07:11 GMT -7
Jason didn't really know what he was doing right now, but that seemed to be a sort of frequent thing these days, he should really just get used to it all and not be so affected when some bullshit happens to him in his life. It was such a usual thing, but it still bugged him as much as he did the first time it happened, that was sort of usual though. His therapist said it was good that he felt upset about the bad things that took place in his life, if he wasn't affected at all it would have been a sign that there was something seriously wrong. However, at the very same time he shouldn't beat himself up so much over something, it seemed like it was a hard task to find the right balance.
The young man had left his home earlier that evening, kisses on the top of each child's head before he left without much of a word. He took down a few drinks, not enough to be full flat out drunk or anything, the chances of him puking everything up in a matter of time were very slim, but it was easy to say that Jason was buzzed, or tipsy. Whatever you wanted to call it. Things just felt a bit easier when he was in that frame of mind, and nothing seemed that serious or that big of a deal, it was sort of like he was just living in the moment and nothing could bug him too much. As he left the bar knowing if he stayed any longer he would just end up wasting more money and becoming more inebriated, Jason thought he would avoid that, but he still didn't want to go home. That was when the wondering came in, he was able to stop at the candy store, picking up a few goodies for himself before it closed and he kept on walking.
Spring had settled into the small town of Ridgewood, the snow was starting to melt, but considering that night time was over the town, it was a bit chilly especially when the wind blew a bit. Despite all of that, he found his way to the park, and sat himself down on the swing with a bit of a sigh, maybe he should have asked because someone else was sitting there and there was always that possibility that they didn't want company but considering his current state of mind, Jason couldn't be bothered to take that into consideration. He let himself move back and forth a bit, before he turned his head a bit to look at the other male, he actually wasn't sure if he had ever seen this guy around before or not. How awkward! "Hi," what a great way to break the silence! "What a nice night to go for a swing." God, Jason wasn't even sure if he was being sarcastic or not with such a comment, it wasn't like it was beautiful out so it didn't seem too sincere, but at least it wasn't snowing or anything.
He pulled the movement of the swing to a stop, and pulled a bar of chocolate out of his pocket, quickly unwrapping it and starting to devour the thing, it had been a few days once again since he ate so the chocolate was a welcomed thing. Jason didn't even know what he was trying to prove by this whole not eating thing, it wasn't like he was trying to become thin or anything, it wasn't an eating disorder, there was just…a part of him that didn't want to eat, he wasn't hungry he felt a bit sick for the most part. "I like chocolate, what about you?" Random question, really. "Is that your dog? I like dogs too, I have two at home."
