HISTORY SUMMARY:
Vince was the second child born to Jean-Phillipe and Laila Benoit, two of the most well off doctors in Orleans, France. He was soon followed by a sister and two brothers. Being the second son though, his parents expected a lot of him. He was home-schooled, only allowed to play with children approved by his parents, taught piano, guitar, drums, and took singing lessons from the time he was six. Needless to say, Vince was sheltered.

The day he turned thirteen, he managed to talk his parents into letting him attend public school. Since he was so outgoing and his parents found out that the school had a decent pre-med program they agreed. Vince soon mixed in with the wrong crowd and began partying, doing drugs, and vandalizing city property.

At sixteen, after a night of shooting up and drinking with friends, he went home and his older was on the couch waiting. His parents were out of town for a conference and Jasper was supposed to be watching the younger children. Rage bubbled up in Vince as Jasper accused him of drug use. Vince attacked and almost killed his older brother that night. Luckily, little Gemma called an ambulance. Jasper had a punctured lung, four broken ribs, a broken nose, and fractured leg. Vince was arrested and his parents were called to come home. Since they were so well-liked in the community, Vince was sent to anger management and drug rehab.

Vince never forgave himself for that night, but he continued to use for a while after. At twenty he was partying with some friends at a house party when he met Breen. She was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen and fueled by heroin and bourbon shots, he worked up the courage to talk to her. That night Elsie was conceived. She was in France for vacation with her family, but the more time they spent together Vince thought he could never find anyone as perfect. He bought a promise ring and swore he'd meet her in Jersey one day.

About a month later she called and told him she was pregnant and that she had met someone else. Needless to say, he was heart broken. He started drinking heavily and spending more time at home than anywhere else, but avoided drugs as much as he could, hoping that maybe she would give him another chance.

He packed up about four months ago and moved to the states. He found the town Bree lived in and bought an apartment. He's a musician and is considering going to college here in the states, but his concern at the moment is his daughter.
