Gwen settled her hands on the steering wheel and tried to focus on not allowing them to shake. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, wondering if people were passing her car in the parking lot and giving her strange looks. She was outside of school, but not ready yet to drive away. Driving away meant going to the diner, which meant seeing someone who never failed to make her feel about six inches tall. She had to shake this feeling—it had been months since their last fight and really, why should he have that power over her? She was a smart, independent woman who was doing quite well for herself, given the circumstances. Repeating that over and over again, Gwen opened her eyes and began the short drive. After all, She had asked Sebastian to see her today. It seemed quite silly to her that one would go into a meeting that they themselves had coordinated without confidence. Sebastian would practically be able to smell the weakness on her, she was sure. He always did seem able to find what would bother her most and use it against her. Or maybe that was a coincidence.
The young woman began to gnaw on her lip as she pulled into the diner parking lot. She glanced around for a camera crew and was incredibly relieved not to see any. Of course, they could pull up at any second, but for the moment she was safe. Gwen had so far managed to avoid the camera crews, despite the fact that for obvious reasons they seemed to have taken interest to the teen mom. After all, the father was the son of rather famous people apparently, and on top of that he was denying that it was his at all. A point that made Gwen frustrated to no end. Why did he have to go around calling her a lying slut who happens to be obsessed with him? Seeing as she’d only ever had sex one time, it was pretty obvious that Sebastian was the father. Besides the paternity test and child support, that is. Now, Gwen wasn’t the type to go carrying around a paternity test to prove it; she didn’t like drama or attention. But she’d done everything she could to get Sebastian to see that all his lying was crazy and useless and down right mean! She didn’t understand at all why it was necessary—everyone knew the truth. Almost everyone in Ridgewood had seen the drama between the two unfold, and Gwen had a good enough reputation that no one would believe him over her.
But now there was this TV show to worry about. They didn’t care what was true, only what would be interesting on TV. Gwen knew how these things worked; they would make it out to have everyone look irresponsible and lying and crazy. Not only was Gwen horrified by the thought of anyone seeing that on TV, but she feared that if she somehow actually had managed to get into a good school, they would take away her acceptance. After all, they didn’t want someone who would bring drama or a bad name to the school. Ivy league colleges really didn’t need negative press, and they have long waiting lists. Gwen sighed and rested her head on the steering wheel. This was why she needed to talk to her ex boyfriend. It would help at least a little bit if he stopped saying all these horrible things about her. Gathering up the courage, she got out of the car and went into the restaurant. It felt strange, not having Gabriel with her outside of school. Looking around, she saw Sebastian waiting for her at a booth, looking less than pleased. Walking over to him, she thought to herself don’t stutter, don’t stutter for God’s sake don’t stutter… ”Hey. T-thanks for coming…” damn it! Sitting down, she smiled at the waitress walking over and asked for an iced tea. ”So… I wanted to t-talk to you about this reality TV show business.”

IT'S JUST A GAME and if you know the rules you can't get hurt. Sebastian was less than pleased about this whole situation, not that was much of a surprise or anything. He wasn't pleased about very much and to be honest, it tended to take a lot to even do as much as impress the male. Most of the time he walked around the town of Ridgewood just disgusted by how small it was, how it always seemed dirty, how the people didn't seem to give him the respect that he deserved, and how everyone seemed to have this strange fetish over babies. The whole thing was just so…gross that was the only way he could think of describing it. Not that he spent much time thinking about it, he tried to avoid thinking about what he despised so much and that just so happened to include this town and Gwen and that little child that he knew was his, but would never own up to.
All of that being said was why he was so disgusted by the fact that he had to meet up with the female today. It was supposed to be after school but lets face it now, it was a rare occasion that he actually showed up inside of the institution, Sebastian had fallen back into his partying habits and that meant in the day instead of being in class like any good boy would be (though who ever said Sebastian was a good boy?) he had his car parked somewhere while he slept. He had no idea how long he could keep this up until his aunt found out and gave him shit, but he was hoping it didn't come to an end any time soon, it was the only thing that was helping him get through living in stupid fucking Ridgewood, New Jersey. Today was no different than that, so he took a guess at when school would have been over and showed up at the diner. It seemed he was early considering that the girl was no where to be seen. All the better for him, she could miss out on some of his neurotic behaviour.
Convinced that the booth at the diner was dirty he pulled out a pre-moistened antibacterial cloth and began to wipe down the spot where he would be sitting before he opened a second one and started to wipe at the table. It wasn't until that was done when he sat down, as sad as it was this was normal behaviour for Sebastian. You should see the house that he lived in! The floor was probably clean enough to preform surgery on, he hated the thoughts of germs and it had turned into a bit of an obsession to be honest.
When the waitress approached him asking if he wanted anything to drink he mumbled for a glass of water, of course as soon as it was brought to him he took out some more of his antibacterial clothes to wipe the glass down before taking a sip earning all kinds of weird looks from the people around him. Did he care? Not so much, he deserved to be looked at and he knew it. Then at last, Gwen was arriving, instead of smiling like any other person would when the person they were waiting for finally arrived that look of pure displeasure only seemed to grow on his lips. That was just the general affect she tended to have on him. "Yeah," Sebastian rolled his eyes a bit in reply, why did he decide to manipulate himself into a relationship with her of all people? She wasn't even that pretty, she seemed to have some sort of stuttering issue and she wasn't so good around people. he should have spent more time searching for someone else to stalk as prey. Someone like Olivia. Then again, she was someone who was a bit too strong and fierce to manipulate, that was a subject for another day however. "What do you want?' This whole thing was probably going to be like pulling teeth. Things usually were with him anyway. [/blockquote]
