[/justify]"Hey, Red."
ZOey felt a small and harmless tug on her red hair before her brother, Cylis, appeared in front of her, across the small table of her apartment in a black shirt and sweatpants. Even being younger than her, Cylis had an advantage over Zoey. He was taller than her by 4 inches, meaning he was six feet tall at sixteen years old. Unlike her, he had shaggy dark brown hair, her father's hair color. But they both shared the same icy blue eyes from their mother, and that's how you could tell they were of the same family. A warm smile tugged at the corner's of Zoey's lips as she watched her little brother fix himself a bowl of cereal. She suddenly felt a shiver crawl up her spine, and grabbed the nearest hoody, a neon one from the acting class she took last year. Her eyes then shifted to Cylis, who was attacking his food and she smiled a bit.
Cylis suddenly looked up from his breakfast, a confused look on his face, even though he said nothing. Zoey realized she'd been staring at him and she let her eyes retreat to the table. After a long, silent moment she stood. "No trouble today, or I will personally tie you up and lock you in a closet," She told Cylis with a playful smile. He answered with his trademark bad-boy smirk and a salute, and he stood, setting the bowl on the counter and retreating to his room. Zoey watched him before shrugging. "Thanks dad, for the mess he's going to make," she murmured, staring at the empty bowl just sitting there on the counter, dead and silent. Her father had recently forced Cylis into Zoey's apartment, to make it easier on her to take care of the trouble-maker. Zoey didn't mind, what she minded was his mess.
She found herself to a field of large, tall grass and her eyes instantly brightened at the sight of it. Without any hesitation or thought about her actions, she entered it, looking around, not caring what kind of creatures could be hiding in the grass. In the middle of the field, she dropped her messenger-style bag she'd brought, and she slipped off her hoody, feeling no need for it anymore, and revealing a navy-blue tanktop. She twirled happily, feeling the sun's warm rays hitting her creamy skin. It seemed like such a fairytale location to her, a place that was only in stories she'd read.
Zoey dropped to the ground, laying on her back with her knees propped up to create a triangle shape with her legs and stared at the sky for a moment, watching the clouds race slowly through the blue background. She sighed before reaching into her bag and pulling out the script her newest acting class was studying - The Beauty and The Beast. Without thinking she could, she made the main part, Belle. She placed the script against her legs, standing on her stomach. Zoey started to speak aloud her lines, with pure emotion in her voice. She started to pretend to be Belle, a beautiful character with an amazing life that Zoey wished she could have.
