FULL NAME: Coraline Gretchen Sinclair NICKNAMES: Cora or Core, or any other crazy ass name someone might drunkenly call her. GENDER: Female AGE: Eighteen BIRTHDAY: May 19th ORIENTATION: Heterosexual MEMBER GROUP: Senior
HAIR COLOR: Brown EYE COLOR: Green HEIGHT: 5'6" WEIGHT: 112 lbs BODY TYPE: Slim DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: The few tattoo's she has on her body (mostly lyrics of favorite songs), the occasionally bloodshot eyes, and the slender body type. PERSONAL STYLE: If someone would label Coraline's pick on clothes, they would probably call her 'scene'. However, Coraline really hates that term for some unknown, stupid reason, and she refuses to have her style called scene. She likes to think that her style differs from any other style in the world - she likes to feel unique and different. She wears a lot of band t-shirts, as she likes to represent the bands she likes; let the whole world know what kind of music she hears. Very tight skinny jeans and/or tights would be a pick for the lower part of her body - she hardly ever wear skirts and dresses, because she thinks she looks weird in it. Coraline also likes to show a lot of cleavage - so low cut, tight shirts are definitely something she'd pick to wear daily. Also, over-sized shirts - she likes when it's a little baggy.. But only the shirts, she'd never wear baggy pants. As for accessorising - she is absolutely crazy about rings. Her fingers are always covered in various rings, and she never leaves the house without at least one ring on either of her fingers. Studded belts are also something she likes to wear, and she has a pair of earing that she has made out of studs that have fallen off from one of her belts - those are basically the only earing she wears, unless she feels like being colorful and putting something else on. PLAYED BY: Amanda Hendrick
LIKES: Horror movies, candy, her cigarettes, snow, rain, teasing, pot, drugs in general, booze, loudness, sex, animals, make-up, accents, tic-tac's, licorice, baggy clothes, cleavage, pranks, music, playing the guitar, her middle finger, bright colors, brownies, partying, night, mischief, her car, tattoo's, Halloween, vintage, high heels. DISLIKES: Boredom, school, homework, fancy clothing, vegetables, kids, clowns, cooking, her parents, her sister, having to wake up for school, drama, jealousy, monkeys, hospitals, facial hair, foul smells, snobs, cops, ass holes, hookers, fake people, airheads, cocky untalented people, piano. STRENGTHS: She's an a-class liar and manipulator, witty, outspoken, fearless (almost). WEAKNESSES: The drugs definitely are are weak spot, hot-headed, reckless, stubborn. SECRETS: Cora is heavily addicted to drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy, which really is no secret.. However, the drug she is addicted to the most are her pain killers. She wants nothing more than to become a playboy bunny, and live in the playboy mansion. Wears glasses. She gets so scared during lightning, that she has panic attacks. PERSONALITY SUMMARY: HONEST Do not misunderstand - we're not talking about being sincere and genuine here, because Coraline might be one of the most in-genuine and lying people you'll ever meet. She's manipulative and a great liar, so saying that's she's honest would be a load of bull. No, she's outspoken. She says what's on her mind and doesn't really like to play games, especially when it comes to what she thinks about people. She won't pretend like she likes you, if she doesn't, and she won't be afraid to tell you that you're a total douche bag if she thinks you are one. She's not afraid to speak her mind, when she finally comes across a thought that she'd like to share with her company.
HOT-HEADED The girl is like a little ball of fire - little and harmless at first, but if you fuel it it will roar it's ugly face at you. She's really very pleasant to be around - very entertaining to say the least, you should hardly be bored when you're around her and she's actually rather sweet. Well, as sweet as a girl like Coraline can possibly be. She's very hot-headed though.. It only takes one little word to tick her off, and then she's highly unpleasant to be around. She often gets verbally abusive - usually, that's all it really gets to; if you tick her off, insults will be thrown at every possible direction. It has happened before that she has gotten physical though, so you should be aware and stand ready to cover your face if you don't want a black eye.
OUT GOING When she was younger, things were a little hard for her socially speaking. She grew older and build confidence (and she really has a lot of that now - she's actually rather cocky) and now socializing comes rather naturally for her. She likes partying and having a good time, and party poopers should really watch out because she won't have anyone kill her buzz. She's generally very fun to hang around, especially when she's drunk - funny as hell. Obviously her constantly being high and/or drunk helps the whole sociality thing.. But she'd rather ignore that and think that she's just a social wizard.
RECKLESS Coraline often does things before she thinks about them and the consequences they might lead to. It's not that she does it on purpose, although you might think so with the whole 'live life in the moment' attitude, it's just how her brain works. It exactly what triggers the outspokenness; she never really thinks before she say anything, she just says what's on her mind.. Not that she really cares if someone gets hurt in the process, but that another story - she's just a bit of a bitch sometimes. Actions are a lot the same - if she feels like doing something, then she'll do it and not think a second time about it; is it wrong? is it okay? what will happen if i do or don't do it? Doesn't matter, she'll do whatever she feels like doing and then take the consequences afterward. It's made some pretty awesome moments, but has also brought her in a lot of trouble at times.
NATIONALITY: British, American and German. HOMETOWN: Ridgewood, New Jersey PARENTS: Matthew Sinclair, 51 years old, professor in history at the local university Liv Sinclair, 48 years old, gynecologist. SIBLINGS: Aya Sinclair, 14 OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE: n/a HISTORY SUMMARY:
A LITTLE BACKGROUND Matthew and Liv were both married to different people, when they met through a mutual friend. There was instant chemistry between the two, and their affair soon ensued. Liv nearly immediately fell pregnant with Matthews child, which put them both in very awkward positions. They were leading happy lives with the people they had married, and had never intended for anything as huge as a pregnancy happening to them. Never the less, there was no ignoring the Liv's growing abdomen. Being the two honest and good people they were, they confessed the affair to their partners. Naturally, neither of them were very happy about the situation - who would be happy to hear that you spouse has been cheating on you, and has ended up getting pregnant with someone else. Divorce files were filed, and, despite the short time they had known each other, Matthew and Liv soon embarked on their new adventure as parents, as Coraline was born.
CHILDHOOD Coraline was a quiet child, growing up. She never caused any scenes for her parents, which made her quite pleasant to be around. It was a great start as new parents, and eventually encouraged them to have baby number two. If their first child was this pleasant, then the odds for the second one being just like Cora were huge, weren't they? They sure were, because four years later Aya was born and she might have been even more angelic and wonderful than Coraline. With the new baby coming, it was hard for Liv and Matthew to divide their attention to both of them and that was when Cora adopted the rebellious side of her. It's natural for a younger sibling to feel jealous when a new baby arrives, however Liv and Matt couldn't quite grasp why she would feel jealous as they didn't think they weren't paying attention to her. They scolded her when she would cause a scene, and began neglected her even more, which over the years made her turn very anti toward them - they left her to care for herself, and entertained her by paying for private lessons in piano, and later singing and guitar. For her twelfth birthday she was given a dog, who became her best friend until she began dating.
As a child she was very socially awkward, so she didn't have many friends.. Beside the dog she was given at the age of twelve, she had a few very good friends. Two or three maybe, while at that age you usually had a hundred of play buddies. It didn't bother her much, as the friends she had was all she needed. They used to play out in her back yard, though her parents never really liked it when they did - they always kept complaining about how noisy they were. The only kind of noise they seemed to like was the noise Coraline made when she was practicing her piano - that was basically the only thing they praised her about, so as a little girl she used to play as much as she possibly could to make them notice her. At some point they stopped taking any interest in that as well, and were completely focused on her younger sisters talents and intelligence. So then Coraline had to kick it up a notch.
TEENAGE YEARS It was middle school when it all began - boys and kissing. Sex wasn't far either. Coraline developed curves, and she matured. From then on it wasn't really that hard to cause scene's, for her parents to notice. Boys she brought home was always and easy way of scaring her parents - what would a teenage girl and boy be doing in a teenage girls room.. Alone? They could only guess, because Cora would never tell them anything and denied any rumor she had made up herself. To say that she was a little slutty at that time of her life would be an understatement - but every girl goes through that; that's what she has herself convinced, at least. She was Fourteen when she lost her virginity, and then boys became something she just liked and not someone she was bringing over to spite her parents.
That was when the drugs came into the picture - at first it was just cigarettes. She was fifteen and dating a boy two years older - naturally, wanting to look cool beside him, she took a cigarette he had offered her. The first time it was obviously horrible - she nearly puked all over herself. She smoked one cigarette every time they were together, and eventually got used to the taste and the smell.. And also got addicted to it, eventually. Over the past three years the same boy had brought her to addiction of so many other substances - alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs such as cocaine and pot. She no longer did what she did to spite her parents any more either- for all she cared, they could screw themselves. She was actually having a lot of fun. She was enjoying the party scene. Naturally, her parents were very disappointed of her.. But she could really give a rats ass; she knew well enough that they'd forget about her soon enough to go take care of Aya - which she was totally cool with, as long as they'd leave her with her weed.
TODAY Drugs are expensive, and as of lately Coraline has had to struggle with withdrawal every once in a while, when she can't afford the much needed cocaine, and she has gotten herself addicted to pain killers in the process. She's well on her way to getting her own apartment, as she has already turned eighteen, with a good friend of hers and is failing is basically all of her classes in school. College has already been kissed good bye long ago - she doesn't care either way, as she doesn't believe she'll need it. She has a very well thought out plan to be a bartender.. Or a professional dirt biker.. Or a playboy bunny.. Which you really don't need an education for.
NAME: Cammie AGE: Seventeen GENDER: Female YEARS ROLEPLAYING: Eight years, on and off. OTHER CHARACTERS: None. TIME ZONE: GMT +1 MINIMUM WORD COUNT: 350 words. ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: The last six months, living outside of Willow Cove, had felt like years. Decades even. It was hard to believe there had only passed six months, since Claire had last driven her car down these streets - it wasn't like it wasn't a a long time, but compared to a year or two it really wasn't. Never the less, it did feel like a year or two for Claire - this past half year had gone by so slowly, she could've sworn she had started to grow grey hair.. And that would be quite unusual for a twenty-three year old girl, who was relatively healthy.. If you didn't count all the mental issues she was having. She was glad to be back, glad her mother had needed her badly enough to force her to come back - without her, she didn't believe she would've dared to come back. But she had, and she was hopefully here to stay this time. Her mother was sick, so she was definitely going to stay until she got better or.. The alternative, which she would rather not count as an option.. And she had some things to take care of, to make right, so until that was solved, she wasn't moving a centimeter away from Willow Cove. Hopefully things would be good enough in the end, so she would have a reason to keep staying in Willow Cove - if things would end up going badly though, she wasn't so sure she'd dare to stay. She was a bit of a coward perhaps - contemplating running away from her problems like that - but it was really all that she could think of. The other options just didn't seem realistic to her. Heartbreak didn't seem very fair to her, even though she'd done it to the person she was hoping would forgive her and take her back.
Six months ago she had bolted from the city, after her boyfriend had asked her to marry him - not because she didn't want to marry him, but because she was scared of ending up living a monotone, closed up life. She didn't picture her life with him as monotone and boring, or closed up - hell, it never really had been.. They'd been exceptionally fun and amazing together, always making each and every day a new adventure for one another - that was just how she pictured marriage back then. It was a commitment she wouldn't be able to just wave goodbye too, if she suddenly decided she wanted to go to.. The North Pole. Her part time jobs, her zero close friends - all that was intentionally created so that she could just up and leave if she got bored of the place she was in, and wanted to go explore. A real job would've pinned her to one place, and if she had very close friends she would've felt guilty about leaving - she needed to feel like she could do whatever she pleased, without having other depend on her or her depending on others. You see? That's why the thought of marriage scared the living crap out of her, and that was why she left. Robbie probably thought otherwise, since he'd never really known about her little problem (she really hadn't either, until her shrink had pointed it out) and why she'd left, which was why she needed to come back and explain to him - apologize, of course, and let him know that she was changing and that she still loved him, and that it was never the thought and idea of marrying him that bothered her.. If he'd let her get that much speaking done. Was she scared? Hell yes. Good thing there was still some time to plan out exactly what she was going to say, so she didn't end up screwing up.
Pulling up the driveway of her new home, she felt a little smile creeping unto her face - tingling on her soft, red painted lips. There was a light at the end of the tunnel - she was back in Willow Cove, and she officially owned a house - not an apartment - which she could call her own. That was definitely an achievement, and something to celebrate and be happy about - personally, she couldn't wait to start her renewed life.. Whether Robbie would take her back or not. She was only moving forward. As soon as her car halted to a stop, the door flew open - not her actions, but a young gentleman, whom had apparently been standing outside and.. Waiting for her? How odd, but sweet. She had most definitely not pictured being greeted by her neighbors like this, but.. It was a nice feeling. A feeling of welcoming. As she turned her body, and slid out of the car, she looked up at the man standing in front of her. "thank yo.." Just like Robbie, she choked on her own words as his face came into picture. Her hand, automatically, flew up to cover her mouth in shock and amazement, and she fell straight back into the seat of her car. For.. What felt like hours, she just stared at him like that - with mouth wide open, hand covering it, and huge eyes gawking at him. She had not expected this, and to be quite honest? She was far from ready for this to happen. Cautiously, her hand was removed from her mouth, and she lamely uttered the next word; "Hi.." she could've just about kicked herself in the shin for that.. This was not how it was supposed to happen! and what the hell was that?! hi - she mocked herself in her thoughts. Oh god, this was going to be a disaster. Then the next sentence just flew out of her mouth - even lamer than the first thing she'd said "Why are you here?" Now - this time, she wished she had a gun so she could shoot herself. He lived here, obviously - he should be asking what she was doing here. Idiot, idiot, idiot!. "Uhhh.." She was completely dumbfounded - all that she had to say to him was completely erased from her mind, as if it had never been there, and she could honestly not make up one good thing to say to him. Great way of starting an attempt to get him back. Just her luck.
