personal style: To say that Abigail’s style is a little sloppy would be quite an understatement. She wears loose and baggy layers, often whatever she throws together at the last minute as she rushes to get ready. She has eclectic tastes that could be described as “hippie cool” or plain crazy. Abby has no problem throwing unusual pieces together, which makes her look seem like she is trying to be stylish, but really she just likes mixing and matching. Honestly she doesn’t really care what people think about how she dresses. As for accessories, she piles on a few favorite pieces, some other random bracelets and necklaces, and calls it a day. She almost has eye makeup on, as well as some lip gloss. But she’s not really patient with the whole thing, so it often looks sort of messy. Overall, she just wears what she feels good in and calls it a day.

personality summary:
FUN LOVING;; First and foremost, Abby’s biggest concern is that her and her friends are having a great time. If that means going out on the weekends and pulling stupid stunts, so be it. She doesn’t necessarily get into too much trouble, but there is the occasional mishap. She’s a big goofball and bundle of energy that likes to always be doing something. This can make her a little annoying sometimes—if she’s bored, Abby will not leave you alone until you entertain her. But her good nature and infectious laughter make her easy to forgive as well. Sure, she’s a little silly and immature, but it’s just part of her charm. She goes out of her way to see the people around her smiling.
CARING;; You never have to worry about Abigail turning on her back on anyone, she cares to much about other people for that. She has a little bit of a hippie side. She likes everyone to be peaceful and loving and all that idealistic nonsense. In her perfect world everyone would just get along and have fun there would be no drama, because drama’s no fun! But unfortunately she lives in the real world, so when there is drama, Abby is quick to defend those that she cares about most. More than anything, she hates when two people she loves are fighting, because then she feels like she has to get in the middle, and it just gets messy. Conflict upsets her, and so she generally avoids it. Abigail also has a soft spot for animal and other things in nature—she’s a vegetarian simply because she’ doesn’t like the thought of eating animals, something that she gets made fun of for rather frequently.
THOUGHTLESS;; Abby has a tendency to just do whatever she wants and not thinking about what the consequences are. It’s not that she wants to cause trouble, she just doesn’t realize that she can’t do whatever she wants all the time. Afterwards, when she gets in trouble, she wishes that she had thought a little more beforehand. Abby can be rather hard on herself when this happens, especially if it affects other people. If she does unintentionally hurt someone else, the teen will do anything to make it up to that person, or the guilt would eat her up inside. While she would like to think that she learns from her mistakes, it hasn’t really happened. Abby has gotten into quite a few messes but still doesn’t sit back and think before acting. Hopefully it’s a skill that comes with age.
SWEET TEMPERED;; Unlike most of the Barker family, Abby doesn’t really have a temper. She doesn’t get worked up about things and feud with people. If something is wrong, she usually will just brush it off or try to talk about it without it turning into a fight. She doesn’t ever go into a rage, unless it’s something really, really terrible of course. Most people would say that they’ve never seen her get truly upset about something. If something bothers her that badly, she’s more likely to go and complain to one of her siblings and ask their advice rather than just screaming at the person. Abby doesn’t see the point in needlessly freaking out; it’s a waste of energy that she just doesn’t want to deal with. She would rather save that time and have fun.

history summary:
Abby had always liked the story of how her parents had met; it was a romantic sort of story about young love. They had meet in the most cliché way—eighth grade band camp. They saw each other every summer at camp, which was only a plus. The two musicians got along well and it wasn’t all that long before they began falling for each other. Eventually Beth moved to Ridgewood, making it even easier for her and Martin to be together. Young and in love, the two got married and began having babies. It started with Madeline, and not long after came Jason. They were a picture perfect family.
Next came the twins, Austin and Abigail. Like most twins, Aus and Abby were double the trouble and quite a handful. Although one never expects to have twins, Beth and Martin had always wanted a large family and were delighted by their rapidly growing household. Finally, Liam was born and their family was completed. As the kids grew they bickered and fought for attention rather frequently. It was a struggle to get attention from their parents. Abby’s way of doing that was to always be underfoot—she would follow her parents around the house demanding attention at every turn. Even with all of this going on, it was always clear that all of the Barker siblings had a lot of love for each other.
As a people-pleaser, Abby hated to disappoint her parents or her teachers as she started school. However, she was always a restless girl and once school became more about sitting in a desk than finger-painting, the more anxious she became to get the heck out of there. It wasn’t that she did really poorly—Abby skimmed through with only slightly less than average grades, but her attendance was as low as she could get away with. The young girl never thought much about the future, so she wasn’t too concerned with her grades. As long as she graduated, what was the problem? It wasn't like she was going to some fancy college or anything like that, she wasn't ambitious enough. As a matter of fact, Abigail didn't really know what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. She just wanted to have fun and goof around forever.
As she hit her teen years, Abigail quickly picked up habits that probably weren’t good for the young girl, such as smoking pot and partying. She wasn’t really a drinker or cigarette smoker, because she didn’t like the way those affected her or her body. She never touched harder drugs, simply because she was scared of them. Doing pot was one of the only things that Abby and her twin had in common, so it was something that they occasionally did together to get away from it all. She tries not to let her habits get in the way of important things, like being there for people when they need her, or getting things that need to get done done. It doesn’t always work out that way, but she is only 15, after all.
When the Barker family found out that Jason was having twins, Abby was probably one of the least upset about it and the most excited in the family. She knew that it wasn’t the best situation, but honestly the idea that they would be twins (just like her and Austin!) was just so fun! She cooed over them and played with them whenever she was allowed to, though Jason didn’t really trust his baby sister to babysit Maddy and Riley. She thought that Jason had been mature about the whole thing, and often wonders if she’d ever be able to be as mature about a situation like that as he was. She’s very defensive of her whole family, and doesn’t understand why they get such a bad rap. Unfortunately, her partying and such makes it hard to do that, especially because she has a tendency to catch a lot of attention with her goody antics. Abby’s behavior often distracts her parents from the other Barker siblings, which they don’t really mind, especially when they’re off causing their own mischief.
