i don't mind if you don't mind, i don't shine if you don't shine. before you jump tell me what you find. Hayley rolled her eyes a bit as the older boy explained himself, it was bad but she couldn't help it! It was almost as if he thought she was stupid or panicked about the situation or something, like she needed a bit of reassurance that everything would be all right. She knew it would have been, she wasn't too worried about it at all and if we are going to be completely honest about this she was almost grateful that they would have to take the longer way home! It meant that she wouldn't have to be inside the house for so long. "it's okay!" she confirmed nodding her head up and down a bit as if that helped to prove her point, "I don't think my parents will even notice too much they will probably be asleep!" Gosh, the way she talked sometimes and with not wanting to be in the house she sort of made them out to be a lot worse than they actually were. Hayley actually quite liked her parents, she was just sixteen years old and bored and longing for something more interesting to do with her life, her parents really were nice, good people.
It was a bit nice having Haiden's hands around her waist they felt so big, strong almost. Though then again it was nice to have any sort of physical contact with a person (unless it was unwanted of course!) people thrived off social interactions and intimacy, at least that was what she learned in one of her classes. Most likely it was psychology. That being said, Hayley was no different than anyone else, even the lightest of touches were nice and accepted. "You don't need to thank me so much, you know! It's not a problem to come out here with you, it's fun. If anything I should be thanking you for taking the time to pick me up and give me flowers and bring food out for us to eat." She let out a rather content sigh allowing her eyes to close for a few moments before she spoke up once again. "It was really good, you should tell your brother that he's good at making food!" After this night was over she really didn't know where this would leave. Would they go out on another date? Would they become boyfriend and girlfriend? She didn't even know, and she didn't even really want to ask either. She would just take it as it came and see where things went. That was usually how it was for her anyway.
"Haiden!" Hayley laughed as she pulled back a bit looking up at him with a faux displeased look, "What a bad influence you are! What would my brother think?" It was probably the truth though, the boy she was out with now was probably more of a bad influence on Hayley than Deacon thought he was, but she wasn't going to tell him that, actually there were a lot of things that the brunette didn't tell her older brother. But as they always say, what you don't know won't hurt you! "It's not so bad you know…" she trailed of shrugging her shoulders, "And the drama is sort of funny sometimes. The other day someone asked me if I was pregnant or something along those lines I can't remember exactly. It was so funny though Haiden." Hayley started to laugh a bit at the memory, it was too great not to do such a thing. [/size]

"Do your parents even know you came out?" He asked with a gentle chuckle, shaking his head softly. She was one silly girl, that was for sure, and he wouldn't put it past her to not tell her parents she was going out for a bit. Then again, if his parents were to give two shits about what Haiden did with his life they would probably flip out knowing he was out so late. "Hey, at least your parents care." His parents didn't, at all. Why have kids if you're not going to care? Haiden at least just ignored that aspect of his life for the most part since it never brought him any good. "Ok, ok, fine. I'll stop saying thank you," he laughed gently with a shake of his head. "Trust me when I say James knows that he's good at cooking. We both are but he tends to cook more than I do." Once again he kept his mouth shut about her not really eating any food since he didn't want to ruin this.
"I don't care what your silly older brother will think," he smiled with a shake of his head. Haiden knew he was a bad influence on Hayley but he couldn't help it, it was his personality. "I will always be a bad influence, but it may not always be so bad." A soft smirk lifted his lips and he let his arms slide around her waist to hold onto her. God Hayley was so tiny compared to him, both in height and weight. Oh drama, how much he hated drama in any form. He didn't care if it was funny or serious, he hated drama. To hear that someone thought Hayley was pregnant, which was a complete joke, made him laugh. "Seriously? Are they blind or something? And they obviously don't know you at all because I don't think you would be that type of person to be that irresponsible. Even when you're drunk." Haiden had been around her too much at parties so he knew how smart she was even while completely plastered out of her mind. "It's funny, yes, but I don't consider it drama."
The song changed again but Haiden didn't let her go or really change the pace of their dancing. It was nice to just hold onto someone and have a good conversation! "It's not so cold when you're moving, is it?" he smiled slightly, quirking his head ever so slightly. Now that he didn't have his insanely long hair he could do that without having to push his hair back out of his face. Short hair was definitely way better than his long hair. "So, pretty girl, I just forgot what I was going to say..." he laughed heartily again with a shake of his head, looking up for a second. What the hell was he going to say? Turning his head back down to look at her, he just laughed with a slight shrug. "I hate forgetting things." Sighing, he watched Hayley instead of talking since he tended to babble a lot.

i don't mind if you don't mind, i don't shine if you don't shine. before you jump tell me what you find. Well that was a good question! Did her parents know she went out? Not even Hayley knew the answer to that question to be honest, when her mom first called her down to eat dinner she briefly mentioned that she'd be going out with her friend so she didn't have to eat, but she wasn't sure if he remoter fully understood that she was leaving later that night. Oh well. Before she left she did also leave a note so if someone did wake up and notice she wasn't home they would see the message hanging on the fridge. "Sort of," she replied with a grin, "I mentioned it and left a note! That counts for something, right?!" Oh Hayley, she really was quite the little trouble maker, always keeping her parents on their toes, they never knew what she'd do next!
She laughed a bit as Haiden commented about how he didn't really care what her older brother would think. It was probably fair, what would Deacon really do? He was a fairly gentle guy, he probably wouldn't even hurt a fly. As she thought about it she wasn't sure if she had ever really seen him mad and fuming about something. Hayley wasn't quite sure if that was good or not, maybe under the surface it was all bubbling up and one day he would just explode. God she hoped not, it seemed like it would be a bad idea! "Yeah," she laughed a little bit, "You're such a bad influence on me." Honestly though, she wasn't quite sure if Haiden was really as bad as he made himself seem some of the time.
Hayley giggled a bit as the older boy was now going on his rant if you will about how she wasn't that irresponsible. Of course she had to take this moment to jump in and try to make a joke about it. "How do you know that mister?' she grinned up at him, "How do you know I'm not that irresponsible? Maybe I just have wild unprotected sex all day every day! Like at lunch at school I just prance on out to the school parking lot and let whoever wants to ravish me." Oh if that was the truth or not she would never tell. Okay well, it obviously wasn't the truth, but if she was a virgin or not she would never share that information with anyone, that was her own private business and people could feel free to think whatever they wanted about her, it didn't bug her any. The only exception she would probably make to that little rule was a boyfriend if she ever got one. She didn't exactly believe that love was a real thing so she didn't see the point of having a boyfriend either. She was free to do what she wished and that's how she liked it. "Maybe I am pregnant, Haiden! You will never know!"
"Yeah," Hayley agreed, looking at their soundings before looking back up at the older male, "It's not so bad if we're moving, I should have thought of this sooner, don't you think?" she laughed a bit as he commented on how he forget what he was going to say. "That sucks though Haiden, I hate when i forget what I was going to say. Hopefully it wasn't too important." If it was it was bound to come back eventually. Hayley licked her lips and pushed some hair out of her face, "Do you want to grab me something to drink?" She knew she was going to have to take ti slow now that she was going to be having an alcoholic beverage, with an empty stomach she would probably be drunk in no time!

"It sort of doesn't count," he shook his head and laughed. If he didn't tell James he was going out Haiden would be dead, especially considering he had three younger brothers who needed a lot of attention. "But, I guess it's the big bad influence side of me that is saying it's ok." God, why was he such a bad influence on her? He really wasn't, but at the same time he really was. Telling her to skip a day of school even though she really shouldn't, and drinking like he was when they were both thoroughly underage. "You love that I'm a bad influence," he smiled gently as he spoke, letting his arms relax around her. She was so little compared to him, then again Haiden stood at a tall six foot two inches. Her next statement made him laugh hysterically, trying to picture Hayley having wild, unprotected sex. He wasn't so sure why it was so funny but he found it funny.
"Yeah, ok Hayley. Keep thinking that you do," he shook his head again, still finding it quite funny. "You lay on the hood of a hot new camaro and spread your legs for anyone. Quite the funny image." His chuckling was so apparent in his voice since he was finding it hysterical. Haiden plus alcohol equals a very giggly boy. Why did he get so chuckly? That always happened, but his laughing stopped as soon as she said about being pregnant. "Don't say that, I've had enough scares like that in my life. I don't need another one, even if we aren't dating or anything." Oh boy, the scares he had had about girls being pregnant. There was Holly after they had gotten way too drunk one night, it wasn't necessarily a scare but she made it seem like she was. Well, Haiden thought that's what she was doing. Then he had had some careless sex a few times which led to a real scare after the girl had missed her period but turned out she just had a bodily issue.
A drink, that was easy to get and it at least broke the slightly tense moment. Turning, he bent down to grab her the closest beer bottle he could get and handed it to her. "You gonna get all smashed and let anyone ravish you on the hood of a car tomorrow?" He chuckled at his stupid little joke. Ok, he had to admit that one was dumb but he wanted to relax again. "God I wish it would warm up," he shivered and stayed close to her, hoping it would at least keep them both warm. There was only so much one could do to stay warm when the air around you was getting cooler by the minute, so they had to do something. "I didn't bring any hard alcohol, that would surely warm us up but my kind brother told me no." That wasn't such a bad thing, this way Haiden paced himself and he wouldn't be drunk when he left for home. Watching Hayley for a minute, he finally sat back down to give his legs a rest and pulled a blanket around him. "Sorry, was standing all day and my legs are tired."
