Post by JAMES LIAM SCHRAFT on Dec 13, 2010 19:09:36 GMT -7
FULL NAME:James Liam Schraft NICKNAMES: JJ, Jamie, Li, Liam GENDER: Male AGE: Twenty-one BIRTHDAY: August 25 ORIENTATION: Straight MEMBER GROUP: Citizen
HAIR COLOR: Dark Brown EYE COLOR: Hazel HEIGHT: 6'4" WEIGHT: 180 lbs BODY TYPE: Muscular, athletic DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: He always has a buzz cut, his muscles and his sharp eyes. PERSONAL STYLE: Most of the time James is in sweatpants and a t-shirt or undershirt. When he has to work he's in jeans and a nice shirt, otherwise he's bumming it around. He loves being comfortable so if it's more comfortable to be almost naked in the house, then he is unless someone's over of course. PLAYED BY: Channing Tatum
LIKES: Sleeping, being a bum, vanilla, sleeping, sex(what a surprise), working out, his brothers. DISLIKES: His family, being woken up, his brothers being upset, chocolate, being ignored, getting hurt. STRENGTHS: his brothers, knowing he has his brothers at home, being able to keep calm during arguments. WEAKNESSES: his past, being around his parents, knowing that his brothers have to go through what they do. SECRETS: James used to be overly aggressive to the point he beat up quite a few kids in high school. Whenever he's alone he tends to imagine what life would be like if he wasn't dealing with his family. He HATES the heat, he literally would take a million showers a day in the summer if he could. PERSONALITY SUMMARY: James is the all around type of guy that mothers want their daughter to be with. He's a family oriented guy and he loves little kids. There's a mean streak in James, though, if you make him angry enough. He's learned to control it over the years but there tends to be little things that set him off, like his parents. When James gets angry it takes a lot to calm him down and make him not want to hurt someone. It's a trait he wished he didn't have but he got stuck with it since he grew up in a not so nice family. If he's not angry he tends to be extremely happy despite the circumstances. He's always just so laid back that it's hard not to like James, even with his anger issues.
James tends to be a little impatient with things, mainly when he's been waiting for them to happen. With his brothers he has the utmost patience, except for Sam at the moment. He learned how to be patient when he started going through helping to raise his little brothers because he had been through what they were going through. When it comes to other people, though, he is definitely not the most patient person in the world. He can't stand stupidity so he won't deal with it if he doesn't have to, and if there's a way to speed up whatever he's waiting for he will do so.
He is also extremely courteous of everyone and everything. He's just simply willing to be nice, unless pushed to the edge of impatience and anger. Women are on the top of his list of having to be courteous to, but guys get a much lower spot on the list. He doesn't like to be mean to people but if they deserve it, well he will be nasty as hell to them.
NATIONALITY: HOMETOWN: PARENTS: Alexander Schraft, 40, Chemical Engineer Helen Schraft, 38, Paralegal SIBLINGS: Haiden Schraft, 17 Kevin Schraft, 15 Samuel Schraft, 14 Mason Schraft, 6 OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE: None HISTORY SUMMARY: James was the first child of Alexander and Helen Schraft. They were the typical happy couple who wanted to do nothing but spoil their adorable little boy. That was all fine and dandy until he turned three, when his mother started to ignore him more and more. Now she didn't ignore him completely because, well, there wasn't anyone around to take care of him so she at least cooked him meals, got him up for school and such. When he was four his first little brother, Haiden, was born. Now he began to be ignore more and more. The only time he was acknowledged was during his birthday, christmas, and meal times. Now he was a little kid so he didn't know what was going on and just went along with everything.
He had just turned six when his next little brother was born, Kevin, and then he truly felt what it was like to be ignored. Haiden was only two so their mother still smothered him to pieces with love but James was left out on that one. Their dad wasn't around anyway so he didn't have him to go to, instead James played with himself when his brothers weren't around. Haiden turned three a few months after Kevin was born and as he began to not be such a baby anymore, the less his mother paid attention to him. Haiden was the one to lash out this time which led to him getting a little bit more attention from Helen. The true ignoring began when Sam was born about a year and a half after Kevin was born.
The boys learned to stick together as they grew up, learned how to feed themselves and how to take care of themselves in general. Luckily enough for James he could cook by the time he turned thirteen and he supplied for his brothers. That was a lot for a young teenager to deal with and he slowly became more and more angry at his parents for being so ignorant. He lashed out at school, at home, even went after a teacher so he was put on an anger management kind of deal. His parents didn't really pay too much mind to it so he tried to learn to control his anger for his little brothers' sakes. Although he did learn to control it, all hell broke loose when he was fifteen and Mason was born.
James made it known how angry he was about his mother being pregnant again and how much his parents failed at being parents. That only led to a lot of arguing within the family and James had to deal with his brothers in his bed at night. Well, sadly, his brothers would have to deal without him for a few months when James got into a pretty bad fight at school. He messed up a kid pretty badly and was sent to a correctional program to help him with his anger for about a month or so. When he came back Haiden, at the tiny age of twelve, had taken over helping to feed his brothers. It was a nice sight for James but it wasn't one he wanted to see. He made it a point to go through with controlling his anger and continued doing what he learned at the facility.
When he graduated high school his parents were there, surprisingly, making it seem like they were one big happy family. Of course they weren't, Alex was on the phone when James came over to hug his brothers and Helen was busy with fixing her makeup. At least his grandparents were happy to see him and they went out to dinner. That night there was an argument about James going to college and the idea of him going was turned down. He picked up a construction job where he could do a decent amount of work to help cover the costs of his brothers. His parents were pretty damned rich but he didn't want to take any of their money, no he would supply for the brothers.
To this day he is still working for the construction company, sitting in a higher position now obviously. His brothers are all trying to help the youngest, Mason, get through the terrible time of realizing their mother doesn't care anymore. The poor six year old can't figure out whats going on and has attached himself to Haiden while Sam is closer to James. Hopefully, just hopefully, he'll be able to get them an apartment where they won't have to deal with their parents anymore.
NAME:Mouse AGE: 20 GENDER: Female YEARS ROLEPLAYING: 7 or 8 OTHER CHARACTERS: Haiden Alexander Schraft TIME ZONE: Eastern US MINIMUM WORD COUNT: 500 words ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: The one advantage to being the manager of #$@*%! records was you had a pretty nice office away from the main offices, but not as nice as the founders offices. Jamie's office was enclosed with shades that were normally left open unless she had a big meeting or something. Currently the door was open, Jamie was sitting at her desk arguing with someone on the phone. Of course she wasn't far enough away from the main offices that she couldn't see the other workers fucking around but she really didn't give a damn. During the day at work she had more important things to worry about and fuss over than those idiots out there, like band members having to be bailed out of jail or gone MIA after a show. Those were the times she would start to get extremely pissy and not want to be around anyone, which was impossible since she was surrounded by people.
The only downfall to the job was the amount of people Jamie had to be around in a given day. From the moment she walked in the doors at 6:45am to the moment she left, depending on the day that could be 10pm, she was surrounded by people. Interns, Talent Scouts, the Founders, morons outside wanting to bother her, Touch and Go Clothing, you name them they bothered her. It was just a vicious circle Jamie got annoyed with but she loved her job too much to leave. Well, that and the fact that Landon had gone out on a limb to help her out so she couldn't let him down. Jamie constantly recalled that time when she had first moved to America from Ireland and was in dire need of a job. She had seen the position as a Manager for the label and jumped on the opportunity. It took some convincing but Landon had agreed and she had never been so pleased in her life when he said she was hired.
Some days she wished she hadn't accepted the offer, others she was thrilled she had. Well, today was one of those days that she didn't want to be at the office because people were just in asshole-ish moods and planned to let everyone know. Already one of the interns had snapped at her, nearly had Jamie come at them from across the desk, and kindly run out of her office with their tail tucked between their legs...figuratively. Then she had a Talent Scout decide to come and complain to her why a band she had found wasn't signed and that the band really, really deserved it, blah, blahblah, blah, blah. Jamie quickly sent her out of her office with a 'deal with it' lecture and had some peace and quiet for awhile. Shut her door, left the shades open and just relaxed. Checked up on a bunch of the bands, made sure there weren't any horrible headlines in the papers or magazines, got some lunch and just enjoyed herself for a few hours.
Well that lasted for so long before she got a nice phone call from someone at Touch and Go Clothing. Three and a half hours later she was STILL on the phone with the person. Apparently the designs for one of the new t-shirts wasn't going to work and that meant Jamie had to contact the band so they could talk to the designer and it was a huge mess. "Well honestly, I called the band, called the designer and set up an appointment. What more do you fucking want me to do?!" She snapped suddenly, tossing her pen on the desk and sat back against her chair. Why did clothing companies have to have such assholes working for them? It didn't take long before the clothing rep had had enough of Jamie's snapping back before she hung up, Jamie slamming the phone down on it's little hub. Leaning her head back against the chair, the tiny Irish woman closed her eyes with a sigh, attempting to relax but it wasn't working.
