PERSONALITY SUMMARY:
Opinionated: Dominic is anything but quite when it comes to something he believes in and hes really stubborn when he thinks hes right, he doesn't back down if it comes to that, white is black if he says so. He doesn't get like this all that often but when its something he cares about hes not going to let up. Like his sister and how shes going all wrong and he knows how she should fix it even if she doesn't agree with him.

Determined: Dom would never have got anywhere if it wasn't for his determinations, he knows what he wants and he isn't one to shy away if it takes a lot of effort. He's not afraid of hard work and he loves a challenge as long as he gets something worth it at the end. It's making his mind up about what he wants in the first place that he really has issues with.

Indecisive: Once Dominic does make up his mind hes good at getting what he wants but its deciding what he wants in the first place he can't do. He wanted to be a Journalist, a Politician, a business man, a director, a screen writer and so many other things before he ended up being an English teacher. Sure a lot of them did circle around English in one way or another.

Intelligent: It doesn't come easy but Dominic is a pretty smart guy. He had to work hard to get to where he is but he was always top of his class and getting straight A's all through school and he always hated the fact that people could get by without even lifting a finger while he tries so hard but its been worth it.

Untrusting: Dom used to throw himself into everything head first, especially relationships and friendships. That was until his girlfriend left him for his best friend -who just happened to be a woman- since then it takes a lot to get his trust and though he makes friends easily he hasn't whole heartedly trusted anyone since and hasn't been in a relationship since.

Shy: Thought he's outspoken when it comes to women, especially ones he likes, he turns into a blabbering mess or doesn't say anything much at all. Either way, he doesn't act like himself. On the other hand, when it comes to a lecture hall full of students he seems like the most confident guy ever because hes so comfortable, because he knows what hes doing there, hes clueless when it comes to the ladies, or so he thinks anyway but once they get to know hes quite the catch.

Sweet: There's no other way to describe it, though he's not the most confident of guys hes caring and loyal and loving when he lets you in. He's very selfless and honest and likes to keep everyone else happy over himself.

HISTORY SUMMARY:
- On May 12th of 1985 Norton and Rhonda Darling introduced their first son and second child to their then small and happy family just a couple of years after their first child. Both of Dominic's parents loves him and his sister, so much so that they wanted more, it wasn't long before Rhonda was pregnant once again with her third child.

And there were many more to follow that.

2nd out of 10 probably didn't work much in Dominic's favor, not in his opinion anyway. Once he was older and there were plenty of younger sibling to 'keep him company' ,was the nice way his parents put it, he was second in line to become one of the younger sibling baby sitters. With the size of their family, the help him and his older sister gave was more than massive and it stopped Dominic doing a lot but he grew accustom to it. It helped make him into the man he is today.

Other than helping his brothers and sisters out with their issues and homework and everything else Dom found himself time be a part of all the school sports clubs he could. His favorite was soccer and it was, for a long time, his dream to become a pro soccer player. That was until his mother told him how much nonsense that was, that there was no chance and he needed to find something more stable, set a good example for the others. That was when he was just 9 years old.

It was when Dominic hit high school he fell in love with writing and literature, he still played his sports but he had severed ties with the idea of before a professional sports player and her was setting his sites on something more obtainable. His dad always wanted to push his eldest son into business to follow in his footsteps but it was never really in it.

Once he had got himself though high school Dominic went on to university and as much as he loved his family he applied to everywhere on the other side of the country, he even applied for a few outside of it. He needed to get away, he felt his family were holding him back and though he was going to miss them he knew it was the best thing for him even if they did resent him for it.

While in university he excelled, he loved the freedom and the Independence. In his second year he fell in love with Kelly, the girl of his dream. Or so he thought, they were together for two long years and they still seemed to be in the honeymoon period. Dominic had planned to ask her to marry him, had a ring and everything when he saw them.

Dominic was back early from his part time job when he walked into his and Kelly's apartment to find his best friend and Kelly romping on the sofa. The most surprising part to it all wasn't just that he was being betrayed so much by the two people he trusted most but that his best friend just happened to be a girl.

There wasn't anything to say to either of them and Dom moved into a friends until he graduated and did all he could to avoid them until he got out of town.

He never told anyone, not his family or friends that his could-have-been-fiance had left him for another woman. He couldn't handle the embarrassment and he just was hoping no one would ever find out. Even more unrealistically, he hoped he'd be able to completely forget it.

That wasn't going to happen. It changed him as much he tried not to let it. He hated them both for ruining his trust and he hated them for breaking him but he kept it all bottled up and tried to pretend it hadn't happened. He moved back in with his family while he looked for a teaching job and eventually one came up. The irony in the fact that it was in the same city as Olivia, the wild child of the family, and that his parents found it didn't escape Dominic but he didn't care, it was far enough away from the rest of the darling family and it was a fresh start.

The only problem was going to be Olivia. The one sibling Dominic had never really got along with and never really understood in any way, shape or form. They had nothing in common and the idea of trying to kick her stubborn ass into gear was something he didn't want to have to deal with. Still, the fact that he was to be working at her school meant he was going to have some leverage and an upper hand. But living with her? He was pretty sure one of them would kill the other within the first week.

It hadn't taken long for her parents to catch onto the fact that Alexa still wasn't getting to her classes with school calling whenever she wandered off campus or didn't turn up to class. It was getting to the point of annoyance now, having to make more effort to keep herself out of classes she felt she didn't even need to go to. Her most recent scheme was playing sick, it wasn't hard, her acting skills were flawless, she thought she deserved a Oscar for them. The down side was that it had of course got her plenty of attention and not in the best way. She'd barely been doing it a week and already there were rumors going around that she was sick because she was having morning sickness. She couldn't wait for that one to get to the rents, she loved disappointing them and knowing them they wouldn't believe her until she didn't have a bump 4 months later and even then they'd think she'd had an abortion. They really did think the worst of her but could you really blame them? She was hardly a model daughter was she?

"Mr Walter, I think..." a fake gag, a hand to her coral lip gloss coated lips and she was golden and out of class and strutting down the hall way, away from the boredom that was Biology; who cared about plants really? She'd rather chew off her own arm than listen to Mr Walters spit passionately about ferns and moss and trees and fruits.

It wasn't just boredom she was escaping for, she had something she wanted to 'sort out'. It was white and in a little baggy and was going to get her a nice little bit of drinking money for the night following. Not that she needed help with money but she just liked breaking the rules.

She pushed the door to the top floor girls toilets and made her way into the cubical, ready to close the door until she heard the sound of vomiting from the next cubical. Disgusting. But potentially juicy, puking meant 1 of 3 things, real illness (che, right) Bulimia or pregnancy. Juicy gossip that Alexa Wilde thrived off. She wasn't bothered by what people said about her but she knew not many other people were quite as easy under the spot light. That was why she tip-toed back out of the cubical and even faked going out of the door again before she lent against it and waited for whoever it was before she decided which rumor she was going the leak.

The look on her face didn't show it, but when Kelsey walked out Alexa was a little surprised but she could still work with it. Instead of shocked the look on her face was cold and quite hard. "Feeling better now?"she mused, not even a hint of sympathy in her voice.
